Coaching experience: Paddling coach for over 20 years which includes Dragon Boating since the inception of Dragon Boat Northern Territory in May 1998.

First success was at the 13th Sabah International Dragon Boat Festival held on 7 June 1998 in Malaysia when the NT Dragon Boat Team won the Sabah Dragon Trophy, International Mixed event.

Highlight was at Australian National Championships, Hinze Dam in 2002, State vs State – NT was ranked 3rd with 1 x Gold, 3 x Silver, Club vs Club – ADPC (only Club from NT) was ranked 4th with 2 x Gold, 5 x Silver, 1 x Bronze.

Dragons Abreast NT coach from 2002 – 2006. Trained Dragons Abreast NT for the Ord Marathon 2004 – they were the first breast cancer survivors to paddle the Ord and were filmed by Australia Story.

Produced and facilitated, in conjunction with Michelle Hanton (founder of Dragons Abreast), the first Dragon Boat Sweep School Course in the NT.

. Level 2 National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) AWL National Referee
