  • April 2013
    • How good are we?? We were one of the top clubs in the Australian National Club Crew Championships in Sydney, with 1 Silver Medal and 1 Bronze Medal and a host of top 10 finishes. There were over 80 clubs and 3,000 competitors, but ADPC stood out and did Darwin proud. More

    • Our Grand Master Women's team was a finalist in NT Team of the Year at the 2013 NT Sports Awards for their stellar performances at the 2012 Australian Nationals and the 2012 Club Crew World Championships in Hong Kong. We didn't take out the gong, but we must have been a close thing!

    • The traditional Chinese New Year blessing of the cage went off with a bang on Saturday 16 Feb. Thanks to the Chung Wah Lion Dancers for a noisy and colourful event! The Chinese New Year banquet the week before was also well attended with over 40 participants.

    • The ADPC end-of-year party (and farewell to the Penang crew) at the Charcoal Restaurant (next to cage) went off. Congratulations to Annual Awards recipients:

    • It's official. We're the best club in the WORLD in our chosen event!! Our Grand Masters Women's 10's team won GOLD in the 200m event at the World Club Crew Championships in Hong Kong! What a fantastic achievement. This is the best result that the club has ever achieved in a world competition. Congratulations to all involved.
  • April 2012
    • We put up a strong showing at the 2012 Australian National Championships in Melbourne. We raced in the Grand Masters division and, despite having only 4 of our Premiers, we also raced in the Premiers division. Some of our achievements were:
      • A bronze medal in the Grand Masters Women's 10's 500m. This is the second consecutive year we've won bronze in this event, cementing our position as one of the top teams in Australia. Go women!!
      • A grand final contender in the Grand Masters Women's 10's 200m, putting us in the top 6 clubs in Australia in this event
  • April 2011
    • We did well at the 2011 Australian Dragon Boat Championships in Canberra:
      • 3rd (and a bronze medal) in the Grand Masters Women's 500m 10's. Go women!!! This qualifies us to go to the 2012 World Club Crew Championships in Hong Kong in July 2012
      • 4th in the Grand Masters Mixed 200m 10's (after winning our heat and semi-final)
      • 5th in the Grand Masters Women 200m 10's
      • 5th in the Grand Masters Women 2000m

    • It's official (again). ADPC is one of the top 10 dragonboat clubs in the world in our chosen events. We finished a stellar 7th and 8th in the World Club Crew Championships for the 500m and 200m respectively. More
