- We
put up a strong showing at the 2012
Australian National Championships in Melbourne.
We raced in the Grand Masters division and, despite
having only 4 of our Premiers, we also raced in
the Premiers division. Some of our achievements
were:
- A
bronze medal in the Grand Masters Women's
10's 500m. This is the second consecutive
year we've won bronze in this event, cementing
our position as one of the top teams in Australia.
Go women!!
- A
grand final contender in the Grand Masters
Women's 10's 200m, putting us in the top 6
clubs in Australia in this event
- Multiple
semi-final races in the Premiers division
10's. Our 4 Premiers performed sensationally
and our older paddlers proved that they're
competitive even when they drop down a couple
of age divisions
- A
good showing in the Premier's 20's 2000m in
both Mixed and Open
- We
launched our new uniforms at the Nationals. There's
a colourful ADPC top and a striking NT top, as
well as a new track suit top in ADPC colours.
Stay tuned for photos.
- The
souvenir ADPC Nationals t-shirt is still for sale.
See Cindy if you're interested.
